1954 - Kim Novak came to Hollywood to become a model but was signed up by Columbia Pictures

When a young actress first jumps into the Hollywood hopper, she is asked by her studio to fill out a questionnaire about her personal life. The answers, which deal with such crucial amtters as favorite foods, sports, clothes, boyfriends and so on, are regarded as valuable grist to the publicity department's mills.

A few months ago the questionnaire treatment was given to Kim Novak, 21, of Chicago, who came west to be a model, was signed-up by Columbia Pictures and was co-starred with Fred MacMurray in Pushover.
