In Hollywood, 1954 was known as the year of Grace. The 24-year-old Grace Kelly became the most valuable acting property in the movies. With four completed top-budget film to be released in 1954 and a fifth undergoing production, Miss Kelly's cool beauty and her unquestionably fine acting made one producer to say that she's "stainless steel inside".

She established herself as a competent TV actress and taken smallish movie roles in Fourteen Hours and High Noon, she turned down a Hollywood contract and returned to her first love, Broadway. She consented to come back for a role in Mogambo and then she was on her way.
