In april 1950 Frigidaire announced 3 new refrigerator models: The Imperial, The DeLuxe and the Master. The Imperial has near-zero locker top. The lower compartment is refrigerated by the new improved cold-wall cooling with the refrig-o-plate. The DeLuxe has super freezer chest, with a main compartment refrigerated by freezer chest and cold-wall cooling. The Master has colder-than-ever super freezer with a top to bottom food compartment.
The Imperial is a two-door combination of a cold-wall refrigerator with a locker top for long time storage of frozen foods. It included adjustable and sliding aluminiun shelves, ice-blue interior trim, two deep porcelain hydrators, sliding quicktube ice trays.
