THE LONG, LOW ROOF of this design by Edward R. Tyler pulls together house and garage into a single unit with notable simplicity of appearance. Especially interesting is the breezeway, open at the rear, enclosed at the front by barbecue chimney corner and open-work masonry. Though the house-garage integration makes it seem large, this is really one of our smaller three-bedroom homes. Again we have open planning in kitchen-dining-living area.
Area: House 961, garage 248 sq. ft.

View from the rear, showing the covered porch or breezeway between the garage and the house - and the open masonry at the front actually lets the breezes through.
