In 1937 a swimming pool coach is introduced on the New York-San Francisco line. The pool was 22 meters long (72 feet), 3 (almost 10 feet) meters wide with a depth varying from 1 to 2 meters (3 to 6.5 feet) . Also there were new sleeping coaches with artificial "sun light".
Except for this short info above, from the Romanian magazine - Romania Illustrated - 25 august 1937, I couldn't find any info, so i speculate that this might have been a one time publicity stunt by the 20th Century Limited. Image below is just a crop from a 1937, 20th Century Limited ad, it has just the purpose of a general illustration.
