Contained inside this free-blown plastic sphere, five feet in diameter, is a gas refrigerator unit in full operation — even the gas flame is visible. This exhibit is displayed in Industry Hall in the California State Museum of Science and Industry, Los Angeles, where the story of California's industry and economy is presented.
