The Plymouth Meeting Mall

The Plymouth Meeting Mall was designed by Victor Gruen and built by The Rouse Company in 1966, it was the third fully enclosed shopping mall in the Philadelphia area. The original two anchor stores were Strawbridge & Clothier and Lit Brothers. The One Plymouth Meeting office tower was added on an outparcel in 1969.

Here, amid tropical trees, fragrant flowers, soaring arches, and the happy music of the magnificent fountain, is truly the gracious and friendly atmosphere of suburban shopping. Plymouth Meeting is a two-level enclosed mall, completely weather-conditioned for constant springtime, with all the latest in shopping conveniences. Acres of free parking for over 5,000 cars.
