1957 Revco kitchen #6

When American Houses . . . one of the nation’s top home builders, designed their House of Vision, the object was to create a home that would anticipate every need of a young, growing family ...“whether they are entertaining or alone together.”

Living for Young Homemakers recognized the appeal of this friendly house and featured it in a recent issue. Living has this to say about the striking kitchen that featured Revco Bilt-Ins in lustrous stainless steel. “Color does the trick in this kitchen . . . The wall of built-ins is designed (as it should be) so that appliances do not protrude in cubes, but are combined with storage walls to form a flush wall. There is ‘setting down’ space for each appliance.”

Here space and cost was a consideration. The problem was solved by using Revco Bilt-Ins to provide over 14 cubic feet of storage in a floor space only 2" x 3". The result: a compact yet livable kitchen.
