BH&G Five Star Home #2011

The beauty of a one-pitch roof, besides its inherent simplicity, is that it places no limitations on a floor plan the way that most gable and hip roofs do. Wherever an architect chooses to break up a plan, the one-pitch roof can easily cover every corner and job, freeing the house plan for easy, informal living. The design of this house skillfully exploits this sort of freedom, with activities nicely separated for maximum privacy. Unusual bedroom arrangement offers choice of two or three bedrooms; plan can grow with family's needs.
