WEST COURT, WESTLAND CENTER - Located at Warren and Wayne Roads, Westland, Michigan. With two main courtyards, a connecting mall and seven arcades, plus a concourse with many smaller stores and public service facilities, shoppers move through the entire Center in air-conditioned comfort. The many sculptures and works of art, along with the beautiful plantings, add to everyone's enjoyment of the Center.
Designed both as a show piece and as a facility for viewing the East Court, as well as carrying passengers to their destinations, the Glass Elevator moves slowly within an ornamental frame between concourse, main floor and the second floor.
