Plan 1820 by architect Bernard Goodman - a home with a tropical flavor

ARCHITECT BERNARD GOODMAN gives us a design with a tropical flavor—low-pitched white roof, clerestory windows that can be opened to release warm air hovering at ceiling level, screened terraces, wide overhangs. Though designed for a Florida climate, the house can be successfully built in any area of the country. Heating plant can be installed in utility area off the kitchen.

Area: House 1,740, carport 222 sq. ft.
