Humor from Jack Paar, Dean Martin | TV Channels , 02-08 oct. 1966

Above Jack Paar, wearing many hats for the ABC Stage 67 offering, "The Kennedy Wit," carefully and assiduously assembles his tribute to the wit and humor of the late President John F. Kennedy. Below, would you believe Phil Harris is drinking tea with Dean Martin on NBC?

This is a week for laughter. On his regular weekly musical bash, Dean Martin will be joined by Phil Harris, George Gobel and Vikki Carr, providing songs and laughter for everybody. And TV's veteran of humor, Jack Paar, returns to the tube with "The Kennedy Wit," a segment of the ABC Stage 67 series of specials. The tribute to the wit and humor of the late President John F. Kennedy is virtually a one-man creation in which Paar serves as the producer, researcher, reporter and host. Paar, who believes Stage 67 is TV's comeback to the intelligent viewer, says "I have my nose in everything, my finger in every pie, and my ear to the ground, which is a pretty ridiculous sight. But when it's over, I can take full credit or full blame." Ladies and gentlemen, prepare your verdict, please.
