The Sanger–Harris department store in Dallas Texas opened in 1965, being born after the merger between Sanger Brothers Dry Goods and Federated Department Stores. The building has an itneresting architecture, the main structure, decorated with a fantastic mosaic, is surrounded by huge arches. It featured "heat-by-light" water heating and a.c. provided by the Dallas Power and Light Company.
It was also featured in the beloved TV soap opera "Dallas".
The building still stands, but with an altered facade and without the mosaic.
