Planned as a year-round vacation house, this double level house (rendering from rear) makes the most of an ocean view. The entrance at the front is up three steps past the pool, and is on the same level as dining balcony and service wing. Seated at dinner, the family can look out over the living room, three steps below, through the magnificent windows to the sea. The bedroom wing is dropped, too, giving an additional touch of privacy. Noteworthy is the stone fireplace alcove, with built-in wood box, in the living room. Outside, on the same wall, is a barbecue for Sunday beach picnics.
The study-music room links the bedroom wing with the living room, saving a walk up and down the steps. The master bedroom has a complete dressing room and bath. The second bedroom connects with the study, which can substitute as a third. Living is really fun here.
