1960 Beef tips Veronique recipe by Wesson

 


Brown 2 punds lean tender beef cubes in 3 tbsp. oil. Salt. Remove meat, keep hot. Stir 1 tbsp. each dry mustard and honey, 1 tsp.  salt in 1/2 cup water, add to drippings, simmer to blend. Mix in 2 tbsp. chopped parsley, 3 cups cooked rice. Add 1 cup seedless grapes (or 1/4 cup raisins) and 1/2 cup pecans or walnuts, heat. Serve with the meat.
